Under CM Mann, Punjab established 881 Aam Aadmi Clinics, serving 2.15 Crore people.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Sing Mann-led Punjab Government established 881 Aam Aadmi Clinics in the state to provide better health services to the people. To date, these clinics have provided treatment to 2.15 crore individuals.
The Punjab Government is focusing on enhancing the overall health sector and actively delivering medical treatment in close proximity to residents’ homes. At the same time, it is tackling the issue of manpower shortages through continuous recruitment initiatives, resulting in the generation of numerous job opportunities in the health sector.
Over 50,000 Youths Employed
In just 30 months since CM Mann assumed office, the government has successfully created government jobs for 50,000 young people. Notably, 1,910 of these positions have been created within the health sector. The recruitment process is on for 1,390 doctors. Additionally, an advertisement has been released for the recruitment of 400 positions as part of the initial phase.
Better Health Services Accessible to All
- More than 58,900 patients are receiving healthcare treatment daily through the Aam Aadmi Clinics in Punjab.
- These clinics have bridged the gap between urban and rural areas.
- Healthcare services have been provided to more than two crore people at Aam Aadmi Clinics.
- 80 types of medicines and 38 types of tests are being provided free of cost in these clinics.
- Punjab’s Aam Aadmi Clinics bagged first prize at the Global Health Supply Chain Summit held in Nairobi (Kenya).
- More than 72 lakh diagnostics tests have been conducted free of cost.
- 30 dialysis centres established in the state, providing free services to those with kidney ailments.
