In a new study it was revealed that loud noise could increase the risk of tinnitus.
Action on Hearing Loss which is a campaign group conducted a poll of 1,000 adults who ignore the safe level on their music players. Also, it was found that about two-thirds of people are left with a ringing noise in their ears after a night out at a club. Both these groups of people are at an increasing risk of tinnitus.
Therefore it has been advised to all to wear ear defenders when attending gigs and to also turn down the volume of their music systems.
Out of those who were surveyed it was found that half of them listened music for between one and six hours a day. But surprisingly it was also found that one out of five will not take care to keep their ears away from hearing problems.
The campaign group, Action on Hearing Loss has warned people that tinnitus can affect a person’s ability to concentrate at work or even his or her sleeping ability.
