Jason Momoa Talks About His Aquaman Diet, Says ‘I Don't Do Calories, I Just Eat...’

If you are a DC fan, there is no way you won’t recognize our very own Aquaman, Jason Momoa. His casting as the superhero took the world by storm and he was the Aquaman we never thought we needed. Believe it or not, he did pull off the whole orange and green suit thing really well.

With the kind of body our Aquaman has, it would be expected that he must be on some very serious diet and exercise regime. But is that how it is?

Jason Momoa’s Aquaman Diet

In a recent interview, Jason Momoa cleared the air by stating that he didn’t take any extreme measures to look the way he does in Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom, which is set to hit the theatres on December 22.

When asked about his diet, the actor said, "I don't do calories. I just eat,” According to the actor, his meal plan was quite flexible as it all came down to burning the calories that are being consumed, or as he puts it, "I just shovel it in, and then work hard. Work hard, eat hard, play hard, just do it."

While we will be seeing a lot of muscle flexing on screen, Momoa made it clear that none of it is just for vanity. Instead, it is more about carrying his forty-pound suit and not getting hurt while doing all the action sequences in it.

What Is Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom All About?

In Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom, Aquaman aka Arthur Curry, the King of Atlantis, will be teaming up with his half-brother Orm to tackle Black Manta and his ill intentions for the kingdom.

The actor also sheds light on the fact that the viewers will get to see a whole new side of the character as apart from being a king, he is now a husband and a father. The bar is set really high this time as now he has a family to protect.

Last month, a behind-the-scenes clip was released where Momoa was heard saying, "Feels good to be back," while he was holding the character's golden trident on set.
