Although the height of a person is determined by his/her genetics but the nutrition derived from food also plays a key role in every good thing that takes place in our body, including an increase in height. Therefore, it is important to include a balanced diet to pep up the growth-inducing hormones in your body and to replenish all your lost cells.

Below are some of the vitamins and minerals that you must include in your diet to boost your height.

  • Calcium
  • Vitamin D
  • Vitamin B1
  •  Zinc
  • Phosphorus


Never skip your breakfast

For some people; breakfast happens to be their favourite meal of the day while for others eating first thing in the morning is more like a chore.  Moreover, if you have been skipping out on breakfast thinking it will help get slimmer, you are wrong. Instead, make sure that you have a healthy breakfast every morning because it increases your body’s metabolism that in turn can help increase your height.


Exercise regularly

Another effective way to increase your height is to exercise on a regular basis. Include exercises that stretch your muscles such as hanging from an overheard bar, standing on your toes, skipping and practicing yoga in your daily regime if you want to achieve those extra inches of height.


Get ample sleep

Slouching suppresses your height by pressurizing the spinal cord. Maintaining a straight posture with your head and spine aligned, contributes a lot towards increasing your height.
