Ringworm is a type of fungal infection that is caused by a fungus called Tinea. Ringworm is a common and contagious skin infection. People with a weak immunity and also young kids are more prone to get ringworm. Ringworm is also known as dermatophytosis, dermatophyte infection. This infection looks like a small round lesion on the skin that resembles a worm in the shape of a ring. Ringworm infection can affect both humans and animals. 10. Turmeric

It is used to treat ringworm and to prevent infections too.  Along with applying, turmeric powder can even be consumed mixed in milk for effective results. Moreover, you can add turmeric powder to coconut or oregano oil to get the best results.
