Achieve The Ultimate Greek God Bod Through Exercise & Diet

As a 90s kid, most of us probably fantasised about having the physique of a Greek god. It goes without saying that Greek gods have a significant influence on bodybuilding. The Greeks were always striving for perfect symmetry and proportions, also known as the golden ratio. However, bodybuilding in today's era is all about having a zero waistline and veins all over the body, but the golden ratio was about building solid legs and getting as big as possible.

So, if you're looking for a secret pill that can help you have a muscular physique, here are some tips that will assist you in developing a Greek God body at any age.

Strive for symmetry

The main component of a Greek body is well-developed full-body muscles. It is not about having big biceps, chest, or abs without big legs. As a result, your workout should include exercises that will help you gain both size and strength.

Pro Tip

Compound exercises are the best to include in your workout regimen as they will help burn the most calories and build muscles in the least amount of time.

Shed Body Fat

The key to losing any type of fat, whether belly fat or love handles, is calorie restriction combined with cardio and sleep. Fasted cardio should be included in your plan because it will help you sharpen your abdomen like Zeus, Poseidon, Ares and Apollo. You can also speed up the process by doing weight training.

Focus On Recovery

No matter how hard you work out or how many calories you consume each day, you won't see the results you want unless you give your body the time it needs to recover from your workouts.

Irrespective of what your goal is, weight loss or muscle gain, seven to eight hours of sound sleep is necessary. Additionally, feel free to take a rest in between.

Greek God Workout

Building a godly physique is no joke; you must sweat day in and day out. The Greek God workout consists of five days of training per week, with one active rest day and one optional rest day. The second rest period is designed to help you recover faster and get back on track with full intensity.

The Greek God body workout split will look like this:

  • Monday: Legs
  • Tuesday: Arms and Abs
  • Wednesday: Chest
  • Thursday: Active Rest
  • Friday: Back
  • Saturday: Shoulders and Abs
  • Sunday: Rest

When it comes to sets and the number of exercises, it is best to begin your workout with compound exercises. For example, if it's a leg day, start with squats, if it's a back day, start with deadlifts, and if it's a chest day, start with the bench press. If you are just starting,, five sets will beideal and the number of exercises should depend on the muscle group you are targeting. For example, legs are a big muscle: they are half the body, so six to seven exercises are recommended. Similarly, three to four exercises for the biceps or triceps would suffice, and four to five for other muscle groups such as the back and chest.

Greek God Secret Diet

Since no one expects Zeus to consume chicken breast, vegetables, and rice six times a day, exercise has always been the main focus of Greek gods' physiques. However, when it comes to transformation, it all boils down to eating according to your goal. Calculate your daily caloric expenditure first. Second, seek out your favourite comfort foods that you can binge on. Last but not least, you should get the majority of your calories from protein, 30% from fats, and the rest from carbohydrates.
