The Greeks were always striving for perfect symmetry and proportions, also known as the golden ratio. However, bodybuilding in today's era is all about having a zero waistline and veins all over the body, but the golden ratio was about building solid legs and getting as big as possible.

Strive for symmetry

The main component of a Greek body is well-developed full-body muscles. It is not about having big biceps, chest, or abs without big legs. As a result, your workout should include exercises that will help you gain both size and strength.

For example, legs are a big muscle: they are half the body, so six to seven exercises are recommended. Similarly, three to four exercises for the biceps or triceps would suffice, and four to five for other muscle groups such as the back and chest.
