Dr. Rakhi Rai is a Fertility and IVF Specialist and the Director of the Fertility and IVF Department at Cloudnine Hospital, Noida. With over 15 years of experience in reproductive medicine, she specialises in the management of male and female infertility, assisted reproductive technologies, fertility preservation, and complex fertility conditions. Dr. Rakhi completed her MBBS and MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and further pursued a Clinical Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and a Postgraduate Diploma in Sonography. Her training in fertility and reproductive medicine has included guidance from leading fertility specialists in India, including Padma Shri awardee Dr. Kamini Rao. Over the course of her clinical career, Dr. Rakhi has helped more than 3,000 couples in their journey towards parenthood. Her experience spans IVF and other assisted reproductive techniques, as well as the management of complex fertility conditions such as low ovarian reserve, PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, recurrent implantation failure, and recurrent pregnancy-related complications. Her areas of special interest include fertility preservation, particularly for patients undergoing cancer treatment, and the management of patients with low AMH or low egg reserve. She also has expertise in preimplantation genetic testing, including PGT-A and PGT-M, donor programmes, fertility preservation using oocyte and sperm freezing, and fertility management for couples with certain infectious conditions. Dr. Rakhi Rai has also worked in senior clinical and leadership roles at several fertility centres, including Apollo Fertility and Indira IVF. Her previous experience includes senior residency in the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at RML Hospital and Kasturba Hospital in New Delhi, as well as an academic role as a Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at LMH Hospital, Nagpur. She has also been involved in training aspiring IVF specialists. Her clinical practice further includes hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures, surgical sperm retrieval, reproductive health management, and selected obstetric and gynaecological procedures.
