Dr. R. K. Choudhary is a Director and Head of Medical Oncology and Hemato-Oncology at Metro Cancer Institute, with clinical practice across Metro facilities in Noida and Delhi. He has over 16 years of experience in comprehensive cancer care and specialises in the management of solid tumours and blood cancers. His clinical expertise includes chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and bone marrow transplantation, allowing him to provide treatment across a wide range of complex oncological conditions. Dr. Choudhary completed his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, followed by an MD in General Medicine from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. He subsequently pursued DNB in Medical Oncology from Army Hospital (Research & Referral), New Delhi. His earlier clinical experience includes working as a Senior Registrar in the Department of Medicine at Lady Hardinge Medical College and as a Junior Resident in Accident & Emergency at Maulana Azad Medical College. He has also worked as a Consultant in Medical Oncology and Hematology at Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. His areas of clinical expertise include breast and lung cancers, ovarian cancer, gastrointestinal cancers such as stomach and colon cancers, as well as lymphoma, leukaemia, multiple myeloma, and other blood cancers. He has particular experience with modern cancer treatment approaches including immunotherapy and targeted therapy, alongside conventional chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation. He has also contributed to medical education by teaching MD, MBBS, and nursing students. Dr. Choudhary is a founding member and Vice President of the Young Oncologist Group of India and is associated with professional organisations including the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), reflecting his engagement with contemporary developments and evidence-based oncology care.
