1. Turmeric

You can make a thick paste using turmeric powder and honey to apply on the blister and let it stay for some time. Do this 2-3 times a day for a week. Turmeric is an antiseptic agent and can speed up the healing process of these blisters. Drink a glass of turmeric milk every night to deal with the pain. Along with the yellow colour and taste, tumeric powder is a positive addition to your overall health as well. 

2. Garlic paste 

Garlic is one of the most easy and effective home remedies to get rid of blood blisters. It is easily available it the markets and is found in almost every household. Crush the garlic and heat it with the olive oil for 10-12 minutes and let it cool down. Apply a drop or two on the blister. Massage this mixture on the blood blister very gently without bursting it. Let it stay for 20-30 minutes. Garlic can also be crushed and converted into a smooth paste and be applied on the blood blister.  Garlic contains allicin, which is a therapeutic compound that can cure the blister and also prevent further infection as it has antioxidant and antimicrobial properties present in it.

3. Teabag

Just place a wet black teabag on the affected area after cooling it in the fridge. Tea has tannins present in it, which are hemostatic and contributes towards blood clotting. Tannins have astringent that constricts the blood vessels in the blood blister. The tannic acid in the tea will help in preventing infections and reducing the swelling. This will also play the role of a cold compression for the blood blister.

You can soak the blood blister area of the skin in epsom salt after dissolving it in some warm water. It can help in healing the blister without causing any extra pain. You can make an Epsom foot bath by adding one cup of Epsom salts to a tub or bucket of warm water. Soak the affected area in this water for atleast 20-25 minutes to see improvement. Epsom salt detoxifies the skin, reduces inflammation and helps in easing the pain too.
