However, in a recent study, this diabetes type was also seen in kids as old as eight years old.
This diabetes type shows symptoms, which progress over the years. About The Study
In this study, around 4,000 participants in the early 1990s were included. It was shocking to see how symptoms of early type 2 diabetes were seen in kids even around the age of 8. This can be a reason for unhealthy food habits and lack of exercise in kids. Also, this health concern is occurring more in women than in men. The disease is more common for people who are overweight. Usually, BMI is higher in people over 32. It can also happen due to genetic reasons.
