Types of sounds

There are four types of sounds.

Natural Sounds

Nature is the ultimate healer. Spending some time in the lap of nature can surprisingly reduce your stress and anxiety levels. The more time you spend outdoors around a nature-centric place, the fewer mental health problems you would face. According to a research, natural sounds positively impact our mental health and induce mindfulness. Simply sit in a park and listen to natural sounds of birds chirping, wind through the trees, waves in a water body, etc. This would enhance your mood, relax your nerves and give a feeling of calmness.

Music compositions

A lot of meditative music compositions are being produced lately which offer to help individuals dealing with mental blocks. These compositions are made with certain frequencies that easily reach our mind and re-tune it. You will immediately feel relaxed and calm after listening because these sound frequencies release muscle tension and put the brain to reset mode.

Sound therapy can be a great option if you wish to re-energise your mind and body without medications. Sound healing can also help certain serious ailments, but for that, you need an expert therapist who analyses your condition and offers sound treatment accordingly.
