Wake up in Brahma Mahurta
When we say that waking up early is a healthy habit, we certainly say it for a reason. Dr Sharma explains that how getting up soon is a plus point for pregnant women, “First and foremost is to change your lifestyle. You should get up in Brahma Muhurta which means to wake up early at 4 am, if you can’t get up so early, then we will suggest you get up till 6 am. Also, it is suggested to take some morning sunlight too after waking up early. If you wake up at 6 in the morning, then sit in light sun rays for 10-15 minutes so that you cure the deficiency of vitamin D. However, ensure that you are not exposed to the outdoors too much for the current situation where virus transmission scare is rampant.”

Perform Pranayama
We all know how essential it is to stay healthy and fit throughout the pregnancy. Hence, do not forget to do your pranayama every day for maximum health benefits. By doing pranayama, our respiratory organs (lungs) stay fit, so you should do yoga asana such as pranayama, anulom vilom, and vascular purification on a regular basis. Also, yoga is not just an effective way to exercise during pregnancy, but it also helps to keep the mind calm and composed. This time is such that the to-be-mothers might feel otherwise, owing to hormonal changes. Calming exercises like these can help make a difference in their mood too.

Opt For Nasyam
As the name suggests, this is related to the nose. Nasyam means to pour medicine in your nose. You should pour only 2 drops of desi ghee or mustard oil in your nose daily. This therapy is exceptionally famous in Ayurveda and is done to especially cure ear, throat and nose related health conditions as nasal is the gateway to the head. Apart from pregnancy, this alternative therapy can help cure conditions like allergies, headaches, nasal infections, etc.
Gargle With Hot Water
Since this phase has started where we all are trying our best to keep safe from the coronavirus, hot water gargles are said to be a must to be double-sure and safe from health problems like a sore throat. A hot water gargle is the best way to wash out every virus and bacteria.
