Cosmetic surgery is an elective surgery therefore it is called a safe environment. However, you need to be aware of the environment you are getting the surgery done. Doctor says that you need to have plastic surgery in safe and sanitized environment. The equipment's that are used should be well maintained and person on which the plastic surgery needs to be conducted should have realistic approach.

Actress Chethana Raj: Plastic Surgery Case
The Kannada TV actress was undergoing a cosmetic surgery on Monday 16th May 2022. After the surgery she soon experienced breathing difficulties. She was undergoing a plastic surgery for “fat free” body. The 21-year-old actress allegedly died because of complications that took place in a private hospital due to negligence by Cosmetic Centre in which the surgery was conducted. According to media reports the fluid had accumulated in her lungs which resulted to breathing problems and shortness of breath. This is one of rare cases of complications that have occurred so far.

Fat ambulism could also cause death in certain cases. However, chances of that are very rare and does not occur usually.
