Symptoms of Anemia

Anemia is a medical condition in which the number of healthy red blood cells or the amount of hemoglobin is not adequate to carry oxygen to your tissues. People with anemia may feel exhausted or appear pale. Few common signs and symptoms of anemia are listed below.

  • Fatigue or feeling tired very often.
  • Pale skin or pallor.
  • Change in heart beat -(that is fast or irregular heartbeat.)
  • Shortness of breath.
  • Chest pain or discomfort.
  • Dizziness or feeling giddy.
  • Difficulty in concentration (Cognitive problems).
  • Cold hands and feet.
  • Headache.

These are some of the common signs and symptoms of anemia. Initially, the symptoms may be mild and can go unnoticedbut the symptoms worsen as anemia worsens.
