Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 13-year-old batter from Bihar, became an overnight sensation after being sold as the youngest player in Indian Premier League history at the 2025 auction. After an intense bidding battle with Delhi Capitals (DC), Rajasthan Royals secured Vaibhav for a whopping Rs 1.10 crore at the IPL day 2 auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. With all that, the teenager has to maintain the level of fitness as he will be playing next to the world-class athletes.

Talking more about the 13-year-old cricketer, he adds, “For young athletes, a diet rich in high-quality proteins and good carbohydrates is essential. They should focus on developing explosive strength, agility, and core strength early on. Weight training helps improve bone density and overall strength for performance on event day. A well-structured training routine that allows for flexibility during off-seasons is important. Additionally, sleep quality and hydration are crucial at all stages.”
