Jaipur has reported six more deaths due to swine flu, out of which three deaths were reported in Jodhpur and one each from Baran, Nagpur, and Pali. The state has reported a total of 30 deaths on January 12, in 2019.
According to the records, a total of 698 cases have already been reported in 2019, out of which 95 persons were diagnosed in Jaipur alone. The patients with serious condition are admitted to the hospital. The doctors have put them on the ventilator support. The records have also stated that four of the persons tested positive with swine flu are pregnant women.
The maximum number of cases was reported on 11 February. 51 patients were declared positive on this single day. The increased numbers have triggered a panic situation Jaipur.
Due to the rapid spread of swine flu every individual should take certain precautions to protect themselves from swine flu.

Pay attention to the symptoms
- The symptoms of swine flu may include- fever, chills, cough, sore throat, diarrhoea, nausea, body aches and stuffy nose. If you experience these symptoms then you should visit your doctor immediately.
- Avoid travelling to swine flu epidemic areas
- You should avoid going to places where swine flu cases have been reported. Do not plan any trip in such a situation.
Hygiene
You should wash your hands very frequently. Do not forget to wash your hands before and after eating. Make sure that you carry a hand sanitiser with you as an alternate.
