There were speculations about Shatrughan Sinha undergoing a minor surgery, but Luv Sinha refuted these claims. The admission was primarily for treating the viral fever and conducting routine annual tests for the 77-year-old actor, known for his iconic roles in films like "Mere Apne," "Kalicharan," "Vishwanath," "Kaala Patthar," and "Dostana."

Understanding Viral Fever

Viral fever encompasses a range of conditions characterized by an increase in body temperature from the normal 99°F to over 103°F (39°C). This fever is an immune response to viral infections and is not a disease in itself. Viruses such as influenza, dengue, and enteroviruses are common culprits. Viral fever is prevalent across all age groups and can range from mild to severe. Early detection and appropriate treatment are crucial to prevent complications.
