Rachael Carpani, McLeod’s Daughters Actress, Dies at 45; Family Says She Passed Unexpectedly but Peacefully

Rachael Carpani, a popular Australian actress known for her role in McLeod’s Daughters, a popular television drama series, passes away. She was only 45 years old, and it has been revealed that she died peacefully due to chronic illness.

The news was shared through a family statement released by her sister, singer Georgia Carpani, on Instagram on Monday, December 15. In the statement, Rachael’s parents, Tony and Gael Carpani, expressed deep sorrow over the loss of their daughter, remembering her as a cherished family member and a respected figure in Australian entertainment.

As reported by her family, Rachael died in the early hours of Sunday, December 7. Although her illness that she had battled for many years was not stated widely in the media, her family emphasised that she battled this condition with strength and grace.
