Khan's unexpected brush with illness has again brought into focus the rising alarm over young adults developing heart ailments. Due to a growing increase in stress, a chaotic lifestyle, and failure to go for regular health check-ups, cardiac arrest is no longer reserved for the elderly.

Doctors recommend a regular screen for heart conditions, stress management, a healthy diet, and careful heed to warning signals like chest discomfort, weakness, or breathlessness.
