Quick Bites

  • Do not ever dislike yourself
  • Never think you are lonely if you are single
  • Do not blame yourself if things go wrong

Do you realize that you, like many others, indulge in negative musings about yourself? Emphasizing on your flaws in order to fix them is good, but the thoughts shouldn’t be focused on destroying your self-esteem. If you don’t like being yourself and want to be much happier, ensure that you eliminate these negative thoughts about yourself.

When you realize that you hate yourself

By no means say that you dislike yourself. Hatred is associated with negativity which should be avoided. There surely may be things that you wouldn’t like about yourself, but you can’t hold it against yourself, even when you know you can’t change it. All you need to do is embrace your demerits and never feel ashamed of them.

When you think you are not good enough

If you feel that you don’t look good, lack in intellect or aren’t talented enough, you simply need to ask yourself why you feel that way. If you get these remarks from your friends or family, simply ignore them. Surround yourself with people who make you feel optimistic and positive instead of those who pull you down.

When you realize you are lonely

You shouldn’t think that you are lonely if you are simply single. If you think no one cares about you, you have got to look around. Your family and friends would love you even if you haven’t been on the same page as them.

When you think that you deserve the bad things

Quite often when bad things happen to us, we think we deserve them. Well, that is a very wrong thought. You shouldn’t blame yourself if things go wrong even if they go wrong because of you. What happened in the past can’t be changed, so you must get over it. All you deserve is happiness.

The moment you get over all the negative obstacles, you will quite likely feel happy. Simply live by your rules and stay positive.
