Summer is the perfect season for outdoor adventures, beach outings and getting sun-kissed. Although, as the temperature rises and humidity increases, our skin becomes more prone to fungal infections. The heat and high temperatures in summers give rise to sweating which can lead to fungal skin infections. 

According to study, fungi thrive in warm and moist environments like the sweaty surface of our skin. Summers become the perfect breeding season for these fungi on our skin. Ringworm infection, athlete's foot, toenail fungus, yeast infections, skin dryness, prickly heat rashes, or genital rashes are most common infections caused during summer.
