Dr. Raman Boddula is a Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Endocrinology at Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad, with 24 years of clinical experience in managing complex hormonal and metabolic disorders. He completed his DM in Endocrinology from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), Lucknow - one of India's premier endocrinology training centres - and holds FIMSA in addition to his MD and DM qualifications. Dr. Boddula's clinical expertise spans diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity, osteoporosis, metabolic bone diseases, growth disorders, hirsutism, and hormonal imbalances. He has held senior leadership positions across several reputed hospitals in Hyderabad, including as HOD & Consultant at KIMS Secunderabad and Senior Consultant at Continental Hospitals, Gachibowli. Earlier in his career, he served as Professor in the Endocrinology Department at Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, combining academic teaching with clinical practice. An active researcher, Dr. Boddula has published peer-reviewed studies on topics including genetic analysis of 5-alpha reductase deficiency, prevalence of Type 2 diabetes in urban Indians, and pre-hypertension risk factors. He is a Life Member of the Endocrine Society of India and is affiliated with the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the US Endocrine Society.
