6 Causes To Watch Out For If You Suffer From Body Pain

Body pains are common. One of the most common conditions that can cause body pain is the flu. In any case, living with pain is very much discomforting. Even a little ache in any body part can interfere with daily chores.

When compared to localised body aches, full or total body pain can seriously impact your life. It can cause many additional health problems, such as long fatigue and depression. Full body pains can be categorised as mild, moderate, or severe. The pain can be acute (short-term), intermittent, or chronic (long-term).

Reasons for Full-Body Pain

Intense exercises and flu are very common causes of full-body pain. Often, people suffering from full-body pain think of this condition as arthritis, without any diagnosis or doctor’s examination. Indeed, arthritis is one of the reasons for full-body aches but not the sole reason. Your body can get pain due to many other complex health issues as well. In this article, we look at these health issues that discomfort the whole of your body.

Lack of Sleep

Your body needs at least six to eight hours of sleep daily to work at its optimum level. Sleep keeps cells healthy and the brain alert and refreshed. Not getting enough sleep impacts the body badly. The lack of time to replenish essential processes leads to body aches.

Anaemia

When you have anaemia, the tissues of your body do not get enough oxygen. This is because the body does not have enough functioning red blood cells. As a result, many of your body parts experience fatigue, exhaustion, and pain. You can also experience head and chest pain.

Vitamin D Deficiency

Many important organs of the body, such as kidneys and muscles need calcium to work in a proper manner. Bones also require calcium to stay strong and healthy. In the absence of vitamin D, the body faces trouble absorbing calcium. This results in a condition called hypocalcemia. Due to vitamin D deficiency, you feel aches in mentioned organs and bones. Your body can also cramp and become numb.

Stress

Stress is another reason that can give you pain. However, it is often ignored by people. In stress, the immune system fails to control its response to inflammation. When this happens, the body cannot fight infections or sickness. As a result, your body aches and becomes more prone to inflammations and infections.

Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is another condition where your entire body including muscles and bones experience pain and exhaustion. The reason for this condition is uncertain. Fibromyalgia may be triggered by stressful events like surgery, physical trauma, and infections. You may also have trouble sleeping and experience stiffness in the morning.

Dehydration

This condition is often ignored when we think of pain in the body. Water is essential for the body’s proper and healthy functioning. Important processes like digestion and breathing depend upon water. These processes do not work well when your body is dehydrated. As a result, you experience physical pain throughout the body.

Conclusion

To treat your body pain, the first step is to identify the underlying causes. In this, your doctor has an important role to play.
