To make a nourishing and hydrating DIY aloe vera cream, gather these simple ingredients:

Ingredients:

  • Two tablespoons of fresh aloe vera gel (from the leaf or store-bought, 100% pure)
  • One tablespoon of coconut oil (antibacterial and moisturising)
  • One teaspoon of shea butter (deeply hydrating and skin-repairing)

  • One teaspoon of vitamin E oil (protects and repairs skin cells)

Note: Always patch test any new ingredient you have not previously used, particularly essential oils.

How to Make It

  • Step 1: Mix the aloe vera gel and melted (not hot) coconut oil together in a clean bowl until well blended.
  • Step 2: Mix in the shea butter and stir until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
  • Step 3: Add vitamin E oil and tea tree oil (if using). Stir again.
  • Step 4: Pour the cream into a clean, airtight glass container. Refrigerate for cooling sensation and increased shelf life (up to 7–10 days if using fresh aloe vera).
