However, you must seek medical help when you see the symptoms worsening and occurrence of other symptoms like withdrawing yourself from social activities, increase in negative thoughts, and tearfulness become frequent.

Apart from taking counseling sessions, you can also introduce some changes to your daily life to fight depression. Follow tips like:

  • Take a peaceful stroll every day.
  • Exercise daily.
  • Interact with people and resume your social life.
  • Share feelings with your near ones.
  • Have a healthy diet.
  • Avoid smoking, alcohol, and overeating.
