Acne can be a mild problem or can really become a serious concern. There are several treatments for acne and the one that many people are not aware about is acupuncture. You may be recommended acupuncture for acne either by a dermatologist or a family physician. Many people opt for acupuncture as they do not want to risk the side effects of medications, laser surgery or other treatments.
But remember that there is little evidence to show that it can actually cure acne problem. However as it has few side effects it is worth a try. You should try acupuncture for acne along with other measures like lifestyle and/or diet modification. Acupuncture improves the overall functioning of the body, relaxes you, relieves stress--- all these may also affect acne favorably.
