Heart is quite a concerning topic these days owing to the unhealthy lifestyle that people lead these days.The diet that people are accustomed to is one of the major causes of heart diseases. Even if people just switch to a healthy diet, the risk of heart disease might lower a bit. Today, let's look at some scrumptious yet heart healthy recipes.

Honey Soy Baked Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 spring onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsps of low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tsp of chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 pound skinned salmon fillet, and cut into 4 portions
  • Salmon boneless fillet
  • 1 tsp roasted or sesame seeds

How to Prepare

  • Take a bowl. Whip Honey, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger and spring onion until the honey is dissolved
  • Put the salmon in a zip pouch and add 3 Tbsps of the sauce and keep in the fridge for about 15 minutes. Keep the remaining sauce aside
  • Preheat the oven. Take a baking pan, cover it with foil and layer it with cooking spray
  • Transfer the salmon in the pan. Keep the skinned-side down. Cook for 6 to 10 minutes
  • Drizzle the fishes with reserved sauce and garnish with the roasted sesame seeds
  • Serve hot

Pearl Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound potatoes, skinned
  • 1/2 Cup of green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup of wheat germ
  • 1/2 tsp of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Prepare

  • Boil the potatoes and after that skin potatoes
  • Mash the potatoes with opinions, salt and pepper
  • Make small balls
  • Mix wheat germ and paprika in a wide bowl. Coat the balls with the mixture
  • Poke toothpicks in the balls and bake the balls
