condom that can kill HIVThese virus-killing condoms have been developed by the company Ansell, which has received Conformity Assessment Certification from Australia’s Therapeutic Goods, implying that they may be available to people in Australia within months. VivaGel is a condom of its type that provides a barrier protection and incorporates a proprietary antiviral compound in the lubricant.

The condoms can not only help people to reduce their risk of pregnancy, but also lower the risk of transmission of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections.
