To all parents out there, believe it or not but boredom brings out the best in your child. According to an eminent Oxford professor, boredom encourages children to be creative.

Neuroscientist Baroness Greenfield said youngsters tend to develop a sense of identity from having to find things to do.
Greenfield further claimed that bore children are more likely to pick up a book or even write a story rather than going online. Although her stand is against a common belief that, “the devil makes work for idle hands”.
The Oxford professor’s claims are backed by a leading headmaster who feels that parents are damaging the creative nature of a child by making their kids go through a strict after-school schedules.
