Wrecked Pre-Workout Review: Ingredients, Usage, Results - Is Wrecked Pre-Workout Good?

In this Wrecked pre-workout review I’m going to tell you everything you need to know about Wrecked version 2 formula pre-workout supplement.

How does this new formulation stack up against version 1, and how does it stack up against the other top workout supplement from the same company called Wrecked Enraged?

I’ll cover everything you need to know right now, including ingredients, performance output expectations, problems, and overall pros and cons.

What Is The Wrecked Pre-Workout Supplement?

Wrecked is a potent and popular pre-workout supplement. Lots of people swear by using it, and I’ve certainly experienced a noticeable uplift in my performance levels since I started using it over a year ago.

Wrecked is made by company called Huge Supplements. These guys make several other really good quality bodybuilding supplements that I’d advise you to check out as well, including Pump Serum, which is the completely stimulant free pre-workout supplement that they have developed.

Wrecked is very affordable to try as well. It costs just $49.95 for a tub.

You can dose at full strength for 20 servings, or half strength for 40 servings. Even at 20 servings of potent pre-workout supplement, you’re paying just $2.50 for something that is going to give you a significant boost when you hit the gym.

Wrecked V1 Vs Wrecked V2

For people who have already used Wrecked V1, how does the new version stack up in terms of feeling and performance?

Looking at the ingredients list, these are the changes that you need to be aware of:

  • 9000 mg of citrulline Malate has been removed
  • 8000 mg of L-Citrulline has been added to replace it
  • 600 mg Alpha GPC added
  • 2000 mg Hydromax (65% glycerol & taurine)
  • Other ingredients and caffeine rebalances

Wrecked V2 for me is smoother and produces bigger pumps. It’s not so jittery on the caffeine, and really does deliver clean and consistent energy with focus.

Overall, the version 2 formula is definitely an improvement on the first version which some people found just to jittery and all over the place, also coming with a crash an hour or so post workout which was nasty when you were already tired.

Wrecked Performance Takeaways

So what are the Wrecked pre-workout effects & benefits you can actually expect?

Here’s a snapshot:

  • You’ll get a really clean boost in energy levels to use
  • Increased ability to pump and complete your reps
  • Enhanced level of focus throughout your workout
  • Better endurance levels
  • Increased determination
  • You’ll feel better at the end of your workout

I’ll go through the ingredients in detail in a moment so you can see exactly how it produces the goods, but it contains 17 really good ingredients in a blend that fuels everything you need to complete your workout better.

It can also help with delaying muscle fatigue so you perform better overall, and you’ll also feel less fatigued after your workout.

It’s really easy to take as well. Two scoops in water about 30 – 60 minutes before you hit the gym. To get the timing right, you’ll have to learn how your body metabolizes things. On an empty stomach, you’ll start to feel its “zing” in about 30 minutes, but with food in your stomach, or slightly slower metabolism, it could be up to 60 minutes.

There are seven great flavors to choose from as well, so it’s not flavorless in water at all, it actually produces a sharp and tasty drink that you want to consume.

There’s no DHMA to worry about either. This supplement really is about clean stimulants, rather than anything less wholesome.

Wrecked Pre-Workout Ingredients

So you can get a really good idea of what’s in Wrecked pre-workout version 2, here’s a list of the key ingredients:

  • 8000 mg L-Citrulline
  • 250 mg Caffeine Anhydrous
  • 3500 mg Beta Alanine
  • 3000 mg Betaine Anhydrous
  • 600 mg Alpha GPC
  • 600 mg Lions Mane mushroom powder
  • 250 mg Eria Jarensis
  • 1500 mg Agmatine Sulfate
  • 1000 mg Rauwolscine
  • 2000 mg Hydromax
  • 3000 mg malic acid
  • 1500 mg L-Tyrosine

There are a handful of other ingredients with lower doses added to the overall construction of the blend and the effects, but those are the main ones that pack the punch.

Let’s just quickly go through some of the main ones in more detail:

  • L-Citrulline is seen in many pre-workout supplements. It can help to deliver stronger pumps by improving blood flow, as well as overall performance levels. 8000 mg is higher than you’ll see in most other supplements within this price range, and even in more expensive supplements.
  • Betaine Anhydrous has been shown to increase your ability to pump and lift. It increases your power output, and helps to really focus the energy you have when you are doing strong resistance training. 3000 mg is a very strong dose.
  • Beta Alanine is that supplement ingredient that people describe as giving them a tingling feeling. You’ll know when Wrecked has kicked in because you’ll feel that tingle across your body. It helps to increase your ability to perform high intensity workouts, and you’ll be able to work out harder and longer. 3500 mg a very strong dose and may actually feel too strong for beginners.
  • Malic acid create something called ATP in our body. ATP at higher levels helps to increase muscle contraction and improve intracellular energy transfer. When teamed up with citrulline they work in synergy to further increase workout performance levels above what could be achieved individually. 3000 mg is a very good dose for this price point of pre-workout supplement.
  • Lions Mane mushroom is probably something you’re unfamiliar with, and it probably sounds odd in a pre-workout supplement. But it’s been strongly proven to improve mental clarity and focus. This will deliver obvious benefits as things get tough during your workout.
  • Agmatine Sulfate is another ingredient you’ve probably never heard of. 1500 mg is a very good dose, and it’s actually in a lot of pre-workout supplements. It’s linked to increased levels of muscle power output.
  • I’m going to bet you’ve probably never heard of Rauwolscine. But it’s another energy boosting ingredient that helps to improve overall performance levels, due to it being a central nervous system stimulant. Because of this, it’s also a good fat burner and is included in many sporting fat burning products. Therefore, this is good for helping you to shape up, as well as get that energy and clarity boost pre-workout.
  • Alpha GPC is something that nootropic users will be very familiar with. Exercise reduces choline levels, which this boosts. This helps not only to increase endurance performance levels, but has also been linked to stimulating higher levels of growth hormone secretion post workout. Alpha GPC can also help to increase levels of focus.
  • L-Tyrosine is great post workout. It’s actually not included in a lot of workout supplements, which is weird. It’s an amino acid that is involved in protein production. Post workout it can help with recovery times, and help with muscle repair after microtears have been produced through intense workouts.

Wrecked Pre-Workout Caffeine Content Manageable?

Wrecked pre-workout version 2 contains 350 mg of caffeine. That’s about the equivalent of 3 cups of coffee.

For some people, in one hit, it can be a little too much, and for the first couple of times you hit the gym you may want to lower the overall Wrecked dosage to 1 scoop, or maybe 1 ½ scoops, rather than the full two scoops.

Overall though, as long as caffeine doesn’t make you jittery or anxious, and you don’t have heart problems, then this is a good dosage which is just enough to really allow you to get that physical and mental energy boost a good dose of caffeine delivers.

Wrecked Pre-Workout: How Does It Feel In The Gym?

This is obviously my personal opinion, but I’ve been using Wrecked pre-workout for a year.

I’ve felt so much more positive and confident hitting the gym. I take two full scoops between 30 and 60 minutes before I hit the gym, and within about 30 minutes I began to feel it surging through me.

I was hitting my rep totals more easily. I was fresh and moving between exercises more quickly. I felt more positive.

I didn’t feel as fatigued, and even after 60 minutes of a pretty thorough and demanding routine, I still felt I could push myself more, and in fact routinely do so unless life demands more of my energy.

Overall then, for me, it’s worked brilliantly. Increased blood flow, better levels of focus and determination, higher levels of energy, better pumps, less muscle exhaustion, and an easier recovery.

Review Conclusion: Is Wrecked Pre-Workout Good?

Wrecked is a very strong pre-workout supplement for the money. But it’s not just about caffeine, and the blend of stimulants and focusing compounds is very good for the money.

Note that some people claim this contains 40 servings. There aren’t, unless you do one scoop which is actually ½ a serving. For beginners that might be enough for the first few workouts, but pretty soon you’re going to want the full 2 scoop dose.

Overall, when asked the question around is Wrecked pre-workout good, it’s a huge yes. That’s why this Huge Supplements review is so positive.

Let’s finish up this Wrecked pre-workout review with the Wrecked pre-workout pros & cons.

Wrecked pros:

  • Highly affordable
  • Strong formula
  • Doesn’t rely on huge doses of caffeine
  • Fantastic blend of many proven compounds
  • Six great flavors to choose from
  • You’ll feel the difference during and after your workout

Wrecked cons:

  • Caffeine dose may be too strong for some
  • Some people don’t like the tingling of beta alanine

Overall, Wrecked pre-workout supplement is a bargain. For just $50 you get 20 strong portions.

That’s only $2.50 per workout to get a significant uplift in physical and mental energy, delay muscle fatigue, and help with recovery. For me, there’s nothing else like it out there right now for the money.

Wrecked Vs Wrecked Enraged

Although some of the ingredients are similar, Wrecked Enraged contains far more caffeine. It’s therefore much more stimulating.

In fact, Wrecked Enraged contains caffeine in four different formats:

  • Caffeine Anhydrous
  • Theacrine
  • Di-Caffeine Malate
  • Caffeine Citrate

Together they combine to create 650 mg of stimulant caffeine. That’s absolutely insane per portion, and like drinking four or five espressos before you workout.

It’s roughly the same price as well, so you’re not getting such a good product for your money. Caffeine is dirt cheap to just buy in caffeine pills, so why spend the same money on a ton of caffeine?

Wrecked V2 pre-workout supplement is far better, and far better balanced with its 17 different compounds that stimulate the body and mind, without relying completely on caffeine. Plus, excessive caffeine can really cause problems with the heart.

Remember as well, that Huge Supplements also make a pre-workout supplement called Pump Serum. This is completely caffeine free, removing any problems with excessive caffeine and making it completely safe to use for anyone.

But overall, if caffeine isn’t a problem, then Wrecked pre-workout delivers the best balance in its 17 different ingredients between stimulants and non-stimulants that I’ve seen in a pre-workout supplement.

Where To Buy Wrecked At The Best Price

The best place to buy Wrecked is direct from the company who makes it: Huge Supplements.com.

It costs just $49.95. If you use the subscribe and save option, is just $44.95 per tub.

You can also use Afterpay, which allows you to pay in four monthly payments for your order each time, spreading the cost.

Plus, you’ll get free shipping on your order if it’s above $100 (£85 in the UK, and the same equivalent amount in other countries).

Put all that together, and experimenting with Wrecked, and other fantastic supplements from the same company, is affordable, and easy to do.
