Potato

 

Excellent for oily skin, they are also easy to use. Cut a potato in half, and rub gently on oily skin in small circles. The starch will stick. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water, and feel the difference. While you’re at it, put a slice of potato over each eye and to get rid of dark circles.

 

Tomato


Another champion for oily skin. As with the potato, cut a tomato in half, and rub directly on your face in small circles. Let the juice stay on your face for about five to eight minutes (or till it gets completely dry). Wash with lukewarm water for soft and glowing skin.

 

Cucumber

 

Summer is upon us, and so are cucumbers. It is of course, a time-tested remedy for puffiness of eyes. But aside from that use, the juice of a cucumber can help refresh and tighten your skin and also give it an instant glow. Apply the juice on your face and leave it to dry for ten minutes. Then wash with lukewarm water and pat dry.

 

Cabbage

 

An excellent remedy for wrinkles and dry skin. Extract the juice from a few cabbage leaves, and mix it with ¼ teaspoon of yeast and one teaspoon of honey. Apply over face and next. After 15 minutes, wipe off with wet cotton to reveal supple, smooth, and glowing skin.

 

Lemon

 

The age old enemy of acne, lemon juice can clear up blackheads and whiteheads with regular use. Soak a cotton ball in lemon juice and dab your face with it, especially on spots with acne. Leave for 10 minutes, and rinse with lukewarm water.
