Avoid Harmful Sun rays
This is another common dampener to your baby’s soft and smooth skin. Sunburn is very common in babies and it should be taken care of at the right time. You should not expose your baby directly to the sun’s rays for the first few months after birth, this is a complete no. Then with the passage of time you can apply sunscreen lotion on your baby’s skin to guard it against the harsh UV rays of the sun.
Treat Cradle Cap
Cradle caps can be treated when it is mild at the comfort of your home. You can loosen the crusts by gently massaging the scalp with baby oil at night and then by washing the hair with a baby shampoo the next morning. You can lift the crusts off gently with a soft brush. You should try this every day until you see that your baby’s scalp looks clearer.
Your baby can also get acne which is also known as Acne neonatorum or neonatal baby acne which is caused by maternal hormones. You should know that it is the same hormone which is involved in causing acne in adolescents. The only difference between the two is that it will only resolve on its own in a matter of just a few weeks. You do not really need any treatment for this.
