Research on Homeopathic Remedies and Cancer

Several claims have been made about the efficacy of homeopathy in treatment of cancer. But studies on effectiveness of homeopathy in treatment of cancer are not very conclusive. Some clinical trials have shown efficacy of homeopathic remedies in cancer-----like in one study the progression of cancer was slowed and incidence of cancer was reduced in rats injected with prostate cancer cells treated with homeopathic remedies.   However, most studies on effectiveness of homeopathic remedies in cancer are not convincing. More studies are needed to establish homeopathic remedies in cancer treatment. Therefore no formal recommendations can be made on the use of homeopathic remedies in cancer treatment.
