Almost all of us tend to ease up on wearing sunscreen as soon as the weather turns cooler. It only seems fair as during winter sun is nowhere to be found, moreover we spend most of our time indoors whether at home or at office. But, you will be surprised to know you need sun protection even during the winter.

 

Reasons to use of sunscreen in winters

The temperature may drop during cold weather but that does not change anything about sun’s harmful rays. UVA radiations are as harmful in winters as they are in summer. No need to mention that when you are exposed to sun, these rays reach deeper into the skin and contribute to wrinkles while prolonged exposure can increase the risk of cancer. Therefore, use of sunscreen should not be limited to summer alone. If you are still not convinced, below are some reasons that might change your mind.
