Itchy Skin Allergy

Itchy skin allergy mainly refers to the allergy signaled by an itch on the skin. This is mostly accompanied by redness of the skin. Such an condition on the skin may become adverse in case it is scratched and subsequently becomes a vicious cycle.   The itch may either be concentrated in a patch of the skin or may be spread all over the body. This, thus, helps to detect the source of the problem. While an overall itch would relate to a cause within the body, a specific one may be related more to a disease in that particular part of the skin. An itch may affect: the scalp: in case of psoriasis and even head lice, the most common hand and legs itch, that is caused due to contact dermatitis, eczema or even scabies, itch on the arms, behind the elbow, due to nerve damage, prolonged exposure to the sun, or even lack of hydration of the skin. The nose may experience an itch due to allergies, as in the case of an ear itch.
