The soaring temperature outdoors can get you drenched in sweat and make your face appear greasy throughout the day. Obviously, you make all attempts to wipe out the ugly-looking shine from your face, but while doing so you also rip off the natural oils from your skin. Therefore, to save your skin from the hazardous summers, here is what you can do.
Use Salicylic Acid
A face wash which contains salicylic acid can help your skin pores to unclog and keep the grease away all day long. Using salicylic acid has a matt effect on the skin but, you must restrict the use to once or twice a day.
Use Mineral Water Mist on Face
To have a fresh and grease-free skin, use a mist which contains mineral water on your face all day long. Also, you must not forget to apply moisturizer. In order to make sure that your skin stays moisture free, prefer using a water-based moisturizer. This will give a balanced level of moisture in the skin and will keep it hydrated.
Use Primer
Always use a primer before applying makeup. This will keep your face free from humidity even when you are wearing heavy makeup. Use of a primer lets your makeup stay smudge proof and prevents moisture from locking into pores of the skin.
Dab Skin with Blotting Paper
If despite all the efforts, your skin keeps secreting sweat and appears greasy all the time, the best way to get rid of excessive oils is to dab your face with a blotting paper. This will remove extra oil from the skin and make it smoother and clearer.
Use Lighter Moisturizer
Each climate demands different skin care. The thick face cream which you use during winters is not the one you must apply during summers because the elements outdoors will not make your skin harsh or dry in this season. The lotion which you wear during summers must be lighter.
