Eggs are considered ideal for low carbohydrate and high protein breakfasts. There are infinite ways to transform the eggs by baking or scrambling or poaching. Get your protein fix with these easy to make egg recipes:
Ingredients required :
5 eggs, ½ cup milk or ½ cup cream, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 cup crouton, ½ cup crouton, ¼ cup ham(chopped), ½ cup fontina or ½ cup provolone cheese(grated), ¼ cup green onion, finely chopped(green part only)
Take eggs, milk and Dijon mustard in a bowl and whisk them. Add croutons, ham and half the cheese, half bell peppers and half green onions to it. Pour the mixture of eggs in a greased pie plate of 9 inches or an 8 inches greased square pan and sprinkle with remaining cheese, bell pepper and green onion.
Put it inside a preheated oven of 350 F for about 20 minutes or until the frittata turns golden and the eggs are completely set. For about two minutes, cook it under the preheated grill or until frittata is golden and is lightly puffed. Now put the pan on a rack and let it cool for 5 minutes. Use a spatula to loosen the edges from the pan and cut it from the wedges.

Ingredients for Sublime Scrambled Eggs : 6 large eggs, 3 tablespoons butter(diced), 2 tablespoons crème fraiche, freshly ground sea salt and pepper, 3 chives, snipped, 3 slices rustic bread
Take the eggs and break them into heavy based pan on low heat and add half of the butter into it. Stir the eggs frequently with the help of the spatula to combine the yolks into the whites. When the mixture begins to set, add remaining butter into it. It will take about 4- 5 minutes for the eggs to scramble. Make sure you don’t let them get too hot. Now toast the bread and add the crème fraîche. Season the eggs at the last minute, and then add the snipped chives. Put the toast on warm plates, pile the softly scrambled eggs on top and serve immediately.
