Sundays are meant to relax. There is probably no other way of having a better Sunday than spending the entire day curling in your couch with a mug of coffee and your favourite movie playing on the television screen. This weekend, why not try something new and different?
This weekend, spend some time pampering your skin and hair. Use one or all of the following tips to get the perfect radiance and healthy hair on a Sunday night and be ready to be taken aback by how you look when you wake up the next morning.
DIY Brightening Facial
All you have to do is just reach for your kitchen closet to make this face pack. Pick 8-10 spinach leaves, half a banana and a few drops of organic avocado oil. Blend all the ingredients lightly to make a paste and then apply it on your face. Let the mask dry for 30 minutes and then rinse.
Don’t Forget to Moisturize
If you wish really hard to revive your dry skin, here is your one chance to get it right. Swap your traditional lotion for any product that contains hyaluronic acid, which will lock water in the skin and give it a plump feel.
Prevent Puffy Eyes
The Saturday night cocktail party can give your eyes unwanted puffiness. However, you can undo damage before the week begins again. Put your anti-inflammatory eye cream in the fridge for few hours. Apply it while circling the eyes and you are all set to hit the office on Monday morning again.
Massage the Scalp
Your scalp is one of those portions of your body which get neglected due to time crunch during the week. Thus on a weekend they deserve some extra pampering. Commit at least 10 minutes to a full scalp massage. This will stimulate blood flow in your scalp, helping the cells to repair themselves.
Condition your Hair
Look for a nourishing hair mask and wear it for at least 30 to 60 minutes to repair hair damage. An even better remedy is leaving the mask over night after loosely braiding your hair before going to bed.
