A hypertensive heart disease can be a sure cause of death and is associated with high blood pressure; it refers to a group of disorders that includes heart failure, ischemic disease, hypertensive heart disease and left ventricular hypertrophy which is excessive thickening of the heart muscle.
This heart disease actually results from overexertion that is produced on the heart due to high blood pressure. This has turned out to be one of the leading causes of strokes and heart attacks. Hypertension is what is referred to as pressure in the blood vessels, high pressure could cause the heart to act harder to pump the blood in the arteries. When you have hypertension, your heart muscles will begin to thicken. If the heart then begins to overexert for pumping against the elevated blood pressure the left ventricle enlarges and thus reduces the blood amount that it pumps. If your condition of high blood pressure isn’t treated then it could lead to various other heart problems.
High cholesterol deposits on the blood vessels and excessive drinking of alcohol and smoking are risk factors for a hypertensive heart disorder.
You will know that you are suffering from ischemic heart disease when the symptoms are nausea, chest pain, difficulty in breathing, dizziness and sweating.
For congestive heart failure the signs are irregular or fast pulse, weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath, swelling of ankle and feet, bloody mucus cough, palpitations, etc.
On the other hand if you have hypertropic cardiomyopathy shows signs of light headedness, chest pain, fainting caused by some physical activity, fatigue, swelling of the legs, ankle and feet, bloating of abdomen with fluid.
Heart infection would show you symptoms such as:
Here the first thing taken into consideration is the seriousness of your illness, that is to say that your condition can be improved if you take measures like lifestyle changes to improve your condition of hypertension/high blood pressure.
You could lower your blood pressure by eating healthy foods, doing regular exercises, getting adequate sleep and thus improving your overall condition.
Medications can also be taken in some cases, those that are prescribed by doctors whose main aim is to prevent the blood from clotting, improving the flow of blood and of course lowering the cholesterol.
In extreme cases surgery could be required to improve the flow of blood into your heart.
The best way to prevent this disease is by removing all vices like smoking, drinking, late sleeping, unhealthy diet and the likes, doing regular exercises, and basically by living a healthy life.
