Cysts
Cysts are often caused due to blocked skin pores. These mainly occur due to hormonal changes and lie under the skin which makes them painful with the slow-healing process. These are delicate and therefore should be taken care of well to avert any major skin problem.

Pustules
The appearance of pustules is similar to zits. It looks like a bubble on the skin with pus inside it. These might look non-disturbing and painless but it is not good for your skin. Also, you wouldn't want any girl to see these. Unlike blackheads and whiteheads, pustules can be easily popped out. They will deflate easily and don't leave behind any scar.

Papules
A papule is a small red inflamed bumps on the skin which is painful and infection-causing. Generally, this doesn't occur alone but a cluster of papules that can cause an infection or rashes such as eczema, dermatitis and other allergic reactions.

Just like cysts, a nodule is the aggressive form of acne. The only difference between cyst and nodule is that nodules don't have pus in them. Nodules cause a red bump under the dermal layer and the pain is felt on the skin's surface.
