Treatment for Chikungunya Arthritis

A bout of chikungunya fever can severely affect the joints of the body. Resulting pain can last for up to a year, if not attended to in time.     For how long does the joint pains caused by chickengunya persist? my grandma had chicken gunya in 2005 and till 2day after 6years she complaints of severe joint pains, and no other symptoms... What is reason for that?

    Allopathy may not be a remedy for the polyarthritic joint pain due to Chikungunya. However I would suggest to test RAF & Anti-CCP test (anti-citric citrullinated peptide antibody). Based on the test results you may choose to take ayurvedic or Siddha treatements which are effective with no side effects.

    Enteric fever (Clinically) for almost two week. post fever small jonts pain developed and it is now 1 month over but pain is still there. is the fever was chikengunia or any other because initially doctor was saying that typhiod again dengue but finnaly decided that enteric fever. i am bit confused what it really was? and what will the remedies & investigation to ruled out
