Health Alert for Lazy People

The lazy cat now has all chances of getting ill, and that is what researchers at the University of Missouri is saying. According to them inactivity or being lazy is related to many health illnesses, such as diabetes and heart disease. Also, previous researches had shown that people who are inactive have a higher risk of getting heart diseases and type 2 diabetes, however, the reason for this is not yet known.

What the team did was to stop a group of active people from exercising and asked them to cut the number of steps they took each day to a half for three days. The researchers found that in those three days of being inactive, the glucose level shot up after each meal that the participants had. The research though not very wholesome, does allow you to take precautions to avoid any unnecessary health ailments; it being a common understanding that physical activeness is a necessity to stay healthy and fit.
