Ingredients
260 grams of bhindi/okra, one tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, one-fourth tsp turmeric, half tsp coriander powder, half tsp cumin powder, chaat masala, one tsp lemon juice, salt, one-fourth cup besan/gram flour, one-fourth cup rice flour, oil.
Wash
Take about 260 grams bhindi, wash it well, dry, and then slice into thick strips. While slicing, do so gently to remove the seeds.
Add ingredients
Add one tsp red chilli powder, one-fourth tsp turmeric, half tsp coriander powder, half tsp cumin powder, and half tsp chaat masala. Mix properly.
Add lemon juice
Add one tsp lemon juice and half tsp salt. Mix again and keep it for marination, resting for 10 minutes while the flavour is absorbed.
Add besan
Put in one-fourth cup of besan and one-fourth cup of rice flour. Mix to coat well. Mix in two tsp of oil, very gently. Do not use water.
Fry and serve
Deep fry in hot oil on medium flame until golden and crispy. Drain excess oil, sprinkle chaat masala, and serve immediately.
