Ingredients
5-6 Amla (Indian Gooseberry), 7-8 curry leaves, half a tablespoon of cumin seeds, a teaspoon of turmeric powder, half an inch of ginger, and water as required.
Soak amla
Start by thoroughly washing amla and deseeding it. Soak the dried amla overnight or for 3-4 hours to soften it.
Blend ingredients
Take a mixer and add soaked amla, curry leaves, cumin seeds, ginger and water. Blend it for 2-3 minutes until nice and smooth.
Add turmeric powder
Add turmeric powder and stir it well. Turmeric is rich in anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce scalp inflammation
Add lemon juice and honey
You can also add a teaspoon of honey and lemon juice. Drink this everyday on an empty stomach to improve your scalp health.
Strain and serve
Strain the juice through a sieve or muslin cloth. Pour the juice into a glass and consume it on an empty stomach.
