Jalebi

Jalebi is made up of deep-fried flour batter and is shaped into loops. This is a crispy, syrup-soaked dessert. Its sweetness and crunch make it tempting making it festival special. It is a good option to break a fast.

Kheer

Kheer is made up of milk, sugar and cardamom. It is a creamy rice pudding made and often garnished with nuts and saffron. It’s a delicious dessert which is everyone’s favourite. It is a good option to break a fast.

Halwa

Halwa is made from grated carrots, lentils, or semolina. It is slow-cooked with ghee and sugar. It has a tempting taste and is perfect for Mahashivratri offerings. Carrot halwa and semolina halwa can be eaten during the fast and lentils halwa to break a fast.

Coconut Ladoo

Coconut ladoos are made from fresh grated coconut, sugar, and condensed milk. It is shaped into bite-sized balls. They are aromatic and absolutely tasty. It is not an ideal option to eat during the fast.

Besan Ladoo

Besan ladoos are made with roasted chickpea flour, ghee, and sugar. It is shaped into round balls. This traditional sweet is both hearty and delicious. Besan ladoo is not recommended for fasting.
