Ingredients
Half a cup of sabudana, 2-3 cups of full-fat milk, half a cup of sugar, half a teaspoon of cardamom powder, a tablespoon of raisins, two tablespoons chopped mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios), and a pinch of saffron strands.
Soak sanudana
Start by thoroughly washing and rinsing the sabudana. Soak for atleast 2-3 hours or keep it soaked overnight.
Cook milk
Heat the milk in a saucepan. Let the milk simmer on a medium flame for 7-8 minutes and bring it to a boil.
Cook sabudana
Now, strain the soaked sabudana and add it to the boiling milk . Cook this on low flame until it starts to thicken.
Sweeten the kheer
Now, add sugar, cardamom powder and saffron strands to this. Cook this until sugar is combined.
Garnish and serve
Garnish the kheer with chopped pistachios, alninds and cashews on top. Serve it warm or chilled.
