Ingredients
Two ripe avocados, half bunch coriander leaves, 10–12 mint leaves, two green chillies, 4–6 tablespoons lemon juice, two teaspoons salt plus more to taste, a half teaspoon roasted and crushed cumin seeds, bhuna zeera, optional.
Wash avocados
First, you need to wash, pat dry, and pit the ripe avocados. Then scoop the flesh into a blender for further preparation.
Add coriander
Add some coriander and mint leaves and a couple of green chillies into the blender along with avocado for flavour.
Add lemon
Afterwards, add lemon, salt, and roasted cumin seeds, if desired, and water to assist in blending well for a smooth paste.
Blend it
Blend till it gets smooth to avoid lumps. Taste and adjust salt and lemon to suit the avocado size and preferred taste.
Store it
You can store chutney in an airtight glass jar. Refrigerate well, it remains fresh for seven to ten days.
