Ingredients
Take one cup grated beetroot, one cup grated carrot, four teaspoons of ghee (clarified butter), two cups of full cream milk, and half cup of fresh cream.
What Else Do You Need?
Take half cup of honey, one teaspoon of cardamom powder, six saffron strands, one teaspoon of blanched almonds, one teaspoon of cashews, and 20 sultana raisins.
Preparation
Take a heavy-bottomed pan and heat two tablespoons of ghee or oil in it. Once heated, add broken cashew nuts to it and fry until golden brown.
Add Other Ingredients
Once the cashews are fried, take them out. Add grated carrots and beetroot to the same pan and saute them for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
Milk
Add full cream milk to the pan and cook on medium heat until the milk condenses and evaporates. Make sure the consistency is thick.
Heavy Cream
Once the batter thickens, add fresh cream and honey into it and mix well until it thickens again for five minutes.
Stir
Add cardamom powder, saffron, fried cashew nuts, and sultana raisin in the halwa and give a good mix.
Garnish and Serve
