Ingredients
One and a half cups of Paneer or Tofu, one cup of fresh coriander, 8-10 garlic cloves, 4-5 green chillies, salt to taste, one-third cup of peanuts, two tablespoons of oil, half a lemon, and one onion.
Dry roast spices
Take a pan and add garlic, green chillies, salt, and peanuts. Dry roast them for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
Add coriander leaves
Cut coriander leaves into small pieces and separate there stems. Saute this for 30 seconds, this will add extra freshness.
Crush the spices
Transfer the sauteed spices to a mortar and pestle. Crush this to make a fine paste-like consistency.
Roast paneer
Now, coat the paneer or tofu pieces with the prepared paste. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry them until golden brown.
Garnish
Garnish the paneer thcha with lemon juice. Serve this with green coriander chutney and sliced onions on the side.
