Homemade Strawberry Wine Recipe To Boost Boost Gut Health In Winters

Homemade strawbery wine is rich in probiotics. It is naturally fermented and boosts your gut health. It is super refreshing and easy to make. Tap to read the homemade strawberry wine recipe.

Ingredients

8-10 strawberries, 3-4 slices of ginger, one slice of lemon, one slice of orange, one of beetroot, two and a half litres of water, and 4-5 tablespoons of honey.

Prepare fruits

Start by thoroughly washing all the strawberries with baking soda and water. Cut the other fruits into slices.

Prepare water

Add water to a saucepan and boil it for 3-4 minutes. Let the water cool down to room temperature and add honey to it.

Add strawberries

Take strawberries and chop them into small pieces. Crush them a little to extract the juice, and add it to the glass jar.

Add other fruits

Now for added flavour, add ginger, lemon, and orange. For that red colour, add a slice of beetroot in the jar and stir it well.

Ferment wine

Cover the glass jar with a muslin cloth. Let this ferment at room temperature for three days and stir it daily.

Strain

Strain the wine into a glass bottle and ferment it again for two days. Refrigerate it for a few hours and serve it chilled.
